Knicks Favored to Defeat Celtics in NBA Opening Game
The Dec 25 – Celtics vs Knicks game will be a battle between two of the best teams in the Eastern conference. New York has emerged to be one of the best teams in the conference due to their trade for Carmelo Anthony who was brought to the team after they got Amare Stoudemire. The team played fairly well together last season but this season is anticipated to be great for the team.
The Celtics, however, are still really close to the same team that played last season. They still have their main guys together which always makes them difficult to defeat, but recently, none of them have risen up to the occasion to take the Celtics to the level that it was at when the team won the NBA Finals.
If you are ambivalent whether which team you should favor to win, New York is a slightly better choice. The odds are in their favor even though the team is not that synchronized yet because of the explosiveness of their players and the better defense that Chandler brings to the Knicks.
